Foreign investments amount to 1 billion euros

Last year, foreign investments in Albania reached a new record high at over 1 billion euros. Data published by Central Bank shows that foreign companies have invested over 1 billion euros in the economy and this amount is 13.5 percent higher than in 2017. Nonetheless, the manufacturing sector which increases the production base of Albania's economy has received a very small share of these investments.  Detailed data show that most of the foreign companies have invested on energy, oil industry, real estates and the financial sector.
