FDIs, 21.1 % less at the end of September
The gross amount of FDIs is down by 21.1% in annual terms according to Central Bank. Data shows that the decline is driven by the final stages of many projects in the energy sector. The issue of foreign investments has been a hot topic because TAP and Devoll HPP are to be completed and the prospect of another big project seems very dim. On the other hand, Central Bank notes an increase in the import of services by 14.3 percent driven by the rapid expansion of travel industry.
