Moody’s: Albania’s economic growth 3,9%

In its recent outlook on Albania, the international credit rating agency, Moody’s has predicted Albania’s economy to grow by 3.9% this year. Meanwhile, projection for next year is 4%. According to Moody’s, in the next two years, Albania will have a significant growth of GDP per capita, from 4500 USD during 2017, to 5300 and 5600 USD in the next two years. On the other hand, the agency in question also projects that the level of investments as percentage of GDP will decline significantly in the next two years, while in 2019 they’re expected to be under 20%. Meanwhile, the crediting rating agency is also predicting a fall in direct foreign investments. These investments may drop to 7.2% of GDP.
