Ministry sells 3.5 billion lek in 2 year maturity t-bills
The Ministry of Finance and Economy it raised Lek 3.5 billion (Dollar 32.1 million/ Euro 27.7 million) through the sale of two-year fixed-rate Treasury notes. The yield of two-year T-notes fell to 2.56% from 2.90% in the last auction held in May, according to the results of the auction posted on the website of the ministry. On June 19, the ministry said it raised Lek 8.7 billion at an auction of one-year Treasury bills. The average yield on the government securities fell to 1.97% from 2.178% at the last auction of one-year Treasury bills held on June 5.
