INSTAT: Unemployment rate in Albania goes down to 12.4%

Unemployment rate in Albania went down for the second quarter in a row in 2018. This is reflected by the latest figures published by the country’s office for statistics, INSTAT, according to which, unemployment rate went down to 12.4%, as opposed to 12.5% in the previous quarter. Compared to the same period a year ago, unemployment rate in Albania fell by 1.5%. The positive trend that unemployment rate is following has to do with the country’s economic growth and its abilities to better exploit the potential of the main sectors of the economy.
