[Article] French businessmen visit Tirana, Veliaj: “Support for every investment idea”

A group of 60 French businessmen have visited Tirana, considering Albania’s capital as a place that offers good opportunities for foreign investments. The Mayor of Tirana met the businessmen and updated them with the project, cooperation possibilities and advantages that Tirana offers to investors. The meeting was concluded by planting trees at the Skanderbeg square, in a sign of friendship between both countries. Gazmend Toska, President of the France-Albania Business Club, with headquarters in Lyon, said that the purpose of this visit was creating economic relations between France and Albania. He said he was optimistic for continuing this cooperation with concrete investments. The Mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj, thanked the French businessmen for their visit and guaranteed support for any businesses in Tirana. Veliaj added that it I very important to create a cooperation with citizens as well, besides the government, as a concrete cooperation opportunity. “Being European is not only about the protocols signed by governments or signatures on important reforms, but also having good relations between people who do business, exchange culture and empower their relations with each other”, Veliaj said.
