[Article] EUROSTAT: Investments in Albania among the highest in Europe as percentage of GDP

Albania has a high rate of investments as percentage of its Gross Domestic Product. This is confirmed by the latest data of the European Institute of Statistics, Eurostat, according to which, Albania ranks fifth in Europe as far as this indicator is concerned. Meanwhile, the International Monetary Fund speaks of a rate of 24.8%, while this year, the projected rate is 24.5%. At the meantime, the average rate in EU member countries is around 20%. From 2000 until 2008, this rate has been greater than 30% for Albania and this is typical of developing countries. Meanwhile, in Europe, the list is headed by the Czech Republic with a rate of 25% for 2016 and 25.2% for 2017.
