Pelikan Agency was found in 1991 By Feruz Mataj. From 1991 till 1994 the company was found as a state owned agency operating as a Distribution of Humanitarian Aid to Albania from Italy and other European Countries under operation “Pelicano”.
Pelikan by its name of the bird, symbolize a careful, safe and smoothly transport, as the Pelikan transports food with beak for its birds.
In 1995 Pelikan Agency was found as a privately owned corporation, operating in the field Logistics. In 2002 was appointed as the sole representative of Medazov Line in Albania and in 2006 was appointed as the sole representative of CMA-CGM in Albania.
Today the company Head Quartered in Durres employs more than 100 People. Currently the Agency is ranked “Top Logistics” provider in Albania and also in the Balkan region. Pelikan is Number 1 in Albania for container logistics operations with its dry port, Container terminal. Pelikan offers Best facilities in the country to handle Chrome Ore Shipments with full logistic chain.
