First solar energy plants operative by 2019
The government has increased the capacities offered to private investors who want to build solar energy implants. The purchase price is guaranteed at 100 EUR per MW for the first 15 years. Albania has planned to cover the price for 120 MW. The OSHEE’s decision to guarantee the price aims to encourage the private sector and focus on clean energy.
