The aim of this Investment Forum is to promote and intensify trade relations between Kosovo, Albania and the Francophone countries

This forum will aim at discussing with business operators from Kosovo and Albania about the similarities, interrelations and main challenges to be taken up, in order to run their activities in these countries. Through these discussions, different topics regarding the business climate will be tackled.

Both countries share many challenges: the need to fight against corruption and grey economy in the context of the Rule of Law, a high energy cost, a respective small domestic demand and a trade market share with francophone countries to be boosted. However, Kosovo and Albania have common assets, in terms of macroeconomic criteria, affordable and skilled workforce, steering the path to regionalmarket integration and a European perspective, concretized by Stabilization and Association Agreements and the progressive integration and implementation of EU acquis.
