Transfer Pricing

The firm’s senior associate Andi Pacani contributed this year to the Albanian Chapter ofGetting the Deal Through: Transfer Pricing 2018 published by Law Business Research and edited by Jason M Osborn, Mayer Brown LLP.

The chapter provides updates on the latest developments in transfer pricing legislation in Albania, and includes expert analysis on: pricing methods, OECD Transfer Pricing Guidelines, permissible cost-sharing arrangements, transfer pricing adjustment rules, “safe harbor” methods, required disclosures and documentation, agencies responsible for enforcement, income tax treaty networks, relief (and its limitations) from double taxation, advance pricing agreements, and any potential tax exemptions or rate reductions available via government bodies.

Cybersecurity

The firm contributes to the first edition on Cybersecuritythe 2018 edition of the International Comparative Legal Guide, published by Global Legal Group, Ltd, London.

The guide provides a global analysis of common issues in cybersecurity laws and regulations across 25 jurisdictions, including Albania and Kosovo.

Promoting art and culture

Boga & Associates, in partnership with the French Embassy in Albania, and Alliance Française supported the promotion of the French culture that is highly valued by the community.

The firm sponsored the “Trait d'Union” international premiere dance show of Angelin Preljocaj, a French – Albanian dancer and very well-knownchoreographer of contemporary dance.

 

We see the promotionof art and culture as a way to give back to the community where Boga & Associates has thrived since 1994 and make it even more attractive place to live and work.
