Albanian Development Fund opens tender for Balldren-Bend Road

The Albanian Development Fund (ADF) said on Tuesday it is inviting bids in a tender for an upgrade of the Balldre-Bend road section in the northwestern region of Lezha. The bidding deadline is November 15 and the maximum budget available for the implementation of the project is estimated at 373 million leks (Dollar 3.4 million/Euro 3.0 million), VAT excluded, ADF said in a tender notice published by Albania's public procurement agency. Works must be completed within 9 months after the signing of a contract. ADF is a public agency whose mission is to encourage a sustainable, balanced and cohesive socio-economic development at local and regional level. The institution was established at the beginning of 1993, based on an agreement between the Albanian government and the World Bank.
